Project Overview

Zitapp is a SaaS appointment scheduling platform built for service businesses like salons, spas, and clinics, with automated WhatsApp reminders as a core differentiator. I designed the landing page for Zitapp, working alongside Axcan Soluciones de Software, the team building the platform. My role was UX/UI design for the landing page specifically, not the product application itself.

Problem
Service businesses like salons commonly rely on spreadsheets or manual messaging to manage appointments, leading to double bookings and missed appointments. Zitapp needed a landing page that could clearly communicate this problem and its solution to a non-technical audience, and convert visitors into demo requests or trial sign-ups.
Goals
  • Communicate the core value proposition (automated scheduling and WhatsApp reminders) in language non-technical business owners would immediately understand
  • Design a clear path from landing page to demo request or free trial sign-up
  • Reflect real user language and priorities validated directly with the platform's target audience
  • Build a professional, trustworthy visual identity appropriate for business owners evaluating a paid tool
Research
The product was validated and iterated sequentially with 4 beauty salons, testing how real service business owners understood and used the platform. These sessions surfaced which pain points (double bookings, missed appointments, manual reminder work) resonated most directly with the target audience, which shaped how those problems were prioritized and messaged on the landing page.
Key insights
  • Missed appointments and double bookings were the pain points salon owners cared about most, more than general "efficiency" messaging, so the landing page leads with those specific problems rather than abstract benefits
  • WhatsApp reminders needed to be presented as the standout feature, not a minor detail, since it directly addressed a cost (no-shows) salon owners could immediately quantify in their own business
  • A non-technical audience needed reassurance about ease of setup before being asked to commit, which shaped both the messaging and the 3-step "how it works" section
User profile
Primary users are owners and managers of service businesses, such as salons, spas, and clinics, evaluating scheduling software with little to no technical background. They are motivated by concrete, everyday problems (no-shows, double bookings, manual coordination across locations) rather than abstract product features.
Main user flow

The landing page guides visitors to:

  1. Recognize their current scheduling problems in the page's messaging
  2. Understand how Zitapp solves them, with WhatsApp reminders as the key differentiator
  3. Request a demo or start a free trial with minimal friction

This flow was iterated based on user feedback.

UX & UI decisions
  • Messaging led with concrete pain points (double bookings, missed appointments) validated directly with salon owners, not generic SaaS language
  • WhatsApp reminders positioned as the primary differentiator throughout the page, not buried in a features list
  • A simple 3-step "how it works" section to reduce perceived setup complexity for a non-technical audience
  • Clear, repeated calls to action toward demo requests and free trial sign-up
  • Transparent single-plan pricing to reduce decision friction common in SaaS landing pages with confusing tiers
Outcome
The landing page translates real, validated pain points from service business owners into a clear value proposition centered on automated scheduling and WhatsApp reminders. Messaging priorities were shaped directly by sequential testing with 4 beauty salons rather than assumptions about what the audience would care about, and the page is designed to move a non-technical visitor from recognizing their problem to requesting a demo with minimal friction.
